March 15th, 2010In 2 days Moomaw and That Blasted Hound will be traveling European roads together for a month. Until then, sometime we need to catch up on what has happened.

Aminalia bounces to life Tonight at SMiLE!
March 12th, 2010Tonight let your bones shake with the internal resonance of the brook the runs up the spine of infinity. I assure you it is something to see. Moomaw, complete with tabla and Rhodes will pulse at your soul, first in the night, and then forever after.
First, I say. The show begins at 9pm and Moomaw will start the night with some chaos, as to which you’ve never been exposed. I do make this promise. Followed by much beautiful music, though you may find yourself still vibrating afterwards.

Beautifulled Illusions Tour
February 11th, 2010If you find yourself in California within the next 2 weeks, beware a band of misfits, possibly wandering roadside or speaking with the trees. Moomaw (including tabla player, Dale Means) will be traveling around playing music, causing havoc, with Mark Matos & Os Beaches. If you see a far out transvan, flag it down and hop in for some Beautifulled Illusions!
The kickoff show is with Little Wings and Apache Thunderbolt @ Hemlock Tavern on Wed Feb 17, 9:00pm. A proper ceremony will take place, a summoning of songs of the shaman.
Otherwise, the new Moomaw record is finished and ready to release on March 9. Check out the Moomaw myspace to listen to a few songs off this wild album.
Otherly otherwise, shortly after return from the Beautifulled Illusions Tour, Moomaw will be heading out of the country once again, this time with That Blasted Hound (Davyd Nereo of Beatbeat Whisper and Winnie Byrd). We will be trouncing through Spain, France, Holland, Germany and Italy. Pangealogical, you say? PANGEALOGICAL!
