Yes, my friends! 14 songs of love and aminals to trip along to, humming merrily from the brush!
You can listen to the whole album, pay what you want for the digital download or buy it from one of the usual digital vendors (iTunes, Amazon) using this handy link:
aminalia.gazebomusic.com
So, for real, it’s real gone. Take a moment to check it out, send the link to your friends. You can pay whatever you want for the album! If that isn’t groovy, then Samson only knows what is.
The release is digital only. That doesn’t mean that it has any less value, just less plastic. If you want a physical product then make sure to meet up with me or the other artists on the album for your very own copy of this 6×6 artwork with specially hand-written secret code which gets you your download. Here’s a great place to meet me to get your artwork:

Today we commence a sorted and sly musical journey for your mind. Given a minute to think one might laugh with lunacy. But listen, my friends, for we start in San Francisco: Hemlock Tavern @ 9pm (not a band to miss, so show up on time!) ~ Wed Feb 17 w/ Mark Matos & Os Beaches, Little Wings, Moomaw, Apache Thunderbolt. This swirl of a poster has been updated and there are new shows added, so gaze:

Feb 17 - 9p ~ Hemlock w/ LITTLE WINGS, APACHE THUNDERBOLT :: San Francisco, CA
Feb 18 - 9p ~ Smiley’s Schooner Saloon :: Bolinas, CA

If you find yourself in California within the next 2 weeks, beware a band of misfits, possibly wandering roadside or speaking with the trees. Moomaw (including tabla player, Dale Means) will be traveling around playing music, causing havoc, with Mark Matos & Os Beaches. If you see a far out transvan, flag it down and hop in for some Beautifulled Illusions!

The kickoff show is with Little Wings and Apache Thunderbolt @ Hemlock Tavern on Wed Feb 17, 9:00pm. A proper ceremony will take place, a summoning of songs of the shaman.
Otherwise, the new Moomaw record is finished and ready to release on March 9. Check out the Moomaw myspace to listen to a few songs off this wild album.
Otherly otherwise, shortly after return from the Beautifulled Illusions Tour, Moomaw will be heading out of the country once again, this time with That Blasted Hound (Davyd Nereo of Beatbeat Whisper and Winnie Byrd). We will be trouncing through Spain, France, Holland, Germany and Italy. Pangealogical, you say? PANGEALOGICAL!
Tonight is a great show of eclectic bands playing for Haitian relief and I’m happy that Moomaw is a part of it. All of the proceeds go directly to Red Cross and it’s only $5 for a bunch of music. Please come and bring friends!

Please come and join a bunch of delinquent artists as we play at a swish jazz club this Wednesday. I believe we’ll all be playing stripped-down folk sets and it’s bound to beautiful and lovely. I’m not sure when you’ll get a chance to see something like this again in San Francisco:
