I want everybody, to clap your hands, in this group. Put on your red dress, baby. And come out and enjoy some fine records as spun by myself and Raul Sanchez. Yes, that’s Outta Sight vs. Penny Arcade, for your listening pleasure! This Friday Aug 1, DJ TS hosts Errly @ The Beauty Bar (SF) featuring Raul Sanchez and Nathan Moomaw, 6pm-10pm.

Playing tunes representative of our respective nights, we’ll be grooving the Errly crowd with 60s rock, psychedelic, soul, folk, world, indie, pop and whatever else suits the fancy. The mellowest DJ battle ever? Maybe. I may even take it down so low that you’ll be wishing you were sipping purple stuff and taking like a 45 at 33!
Speaking of Outta Sight. We’re gearing up for our first year anniversary. It is confirmed and even true, we have thrown a show, every month for the past 12 months! So to celebrate… well, we be having another show:
Outta Sight - 1 Year Anniversary!
Wed Aug 20 - 9pm @ The Edinburgh Castle
Campo Bravo
Beatbeat Whisper
Donald Meints (Reduced to Ruin)
B and Not B
Absolutely far out!
And be sure to check out the promotional documentary about Outta Sight that Brad Robertson so beautifully and courteously created for us:

Otherwise, in other portions of my brain, other than this and other than that, Miwa and I are currently booking a Sept/Oct US/Canada tour. It should be a really good one, but we can use your help. So if you know us and like us and live somewhere you’d like to see us, please drop me a line and help me with bookings!
I’ve been invited to play as a part of Access SF’s first annual non-profit fund-raiser weekend. Which means, I might be in your television this weekend. But more importantly, it means that remnants of me are more likely to reach extra-terrestrials than ever! Just think about all those television waves hurdling off into space. Can’t get much cooler than that.
I just keep thinking about all those movies made — well, you know… before the internet — about people whose life goal is to be on the TV. Yup. I have a feeling it’s going to be just like that.
If you’re around the Bay Area you can catch me at these stations and times:
Access SF is Cable Channel 29 on Comcast and RCN
On Friday June 29, I will be playing a 15 minute set from 10:20pm - 10:35pm
I was also invited to play some during the final hour of the show with Aoede and Jenny Kerr. So I will be playing again on Saturday June 30 from 11pm - 12midnight.
And for those of you who can’t tune in (read: most to all of you) I believe I get a copy so hopefully I’ll get to post up some snippets of it shortly afterwards.
Saturday May 12 @ 3pm
you are cordially invited to a wonderful DAY show OUTSIDE on the patio of EL RIO (Mission St. between Cesar Chavez and Valencia).
Sit in the sun, by the trees on the patio and indulge in songs as played by:
Nathan Moomaw (country, folk, psych)
Young Moderns (indie-pop funness)
The Red Thread (jangly countrified pop)
California Oranges (power pop)
I am meeting Miwa in NYC tomorrow and we’re beginning our journey. Please come see us! I’ll try to keep you all updated on this site.
