I just returned from a week trip back to my little hometown in Western Mass for the holidays. I suffered from a serious bout of writer’s block, but came up with this little country song about… well… the country. Specifically, about being back in my hometown for the longest stretch of time since I left after high school. Please listen to it if you have time:

2 weeks ago some friends and I went down to Fernwood, Big Sur for a nice little folk festival they were having. Turns out we spent most of our time wandering in the woods and beaches, playing drunken tunes by the campfire and mostly ignoring the (really nice) festival that was happening. It was incredibly beautiful though as the newest pics in the photostream testify. When I got home I wrote November about the trip. Listen to it here:

ok. maybe i’ve been listening to Justin Timberlake’s new album a little too much, but this is what came out of me this month. it’s a ukulele dance jam that’s a bit further from the other songs on ‘26′. please check it out and let me know if it gets your booty shakin at all.
