Penny Arcade 3 Year Anniversary Show Flier

First of all, I would like to invite everyone I’ve ever met to the spectacular cd-release extravaganza that is happening this coming Wednesday, June 4. I’m am honored to be releasing it at Penny Arcade’s 3 Year Anniversary at the Makeout Room. I needn’t say much about Penny Arcade, hosted by Raul Sanchez, as it has become a staple for excellent music in the Bay Area. I’ve been lucky enough to somehow score a spot on every anniversary show(!) and I can only hope to continue in this tradition in the following years. This year I will be sharing the stage with local indie hero Bart Davenport and The Mumlers a wonderfully gypsy-styled group from San Jose. I actually shared last year’s bill with The Mumlers and The Dodos, and this year looks to be no less of a beautiful show:

Penny Arcade 3 Year Anniversary!
Wed June 4, 9pm @ The Makeout Room, San Francisco
The Mumlers
Bart Davenport

(Note: Alina Harding is no longer playing)
I go on first so be sure to GET THERE AT 9pm!

Aside from my own loops and toys, on stage with me at various intervals, playing various instruments will be Dusty DiMercurio and Raul Sanchez. And, to make things even more exciting, I will also be accompanied by an amazing tablas player named Dale Means for the entire show. It’s not to be missed!

Please come by and pick up a copy of my CD, “26″, directly from me. You can also find it on CD Baby or iTunes and it is now available to San Franciscans at Aquarius Records!

And while you wait with baited breath for that show, please check out the Bay Bridged. The Bay Bridged is a wonderful source of indie music in the Bay Area, providing amazing podcasts of local artists and really supporting our scene. I am happy to be featured in their May Monthly Mix episode alongside some other really great artists. You can listen to our songs on the podcast here:

Aside from that I’ve been warming up my collection of instruments and my beat-up condenser mics and started recording a new record. In a similar vein I also just finished a small long-distance collaboration on a wonderful song of my buddy Ryan Moya, or Autopilot. Please check out the song, entitled “To The Sea”, featured on his Myspace, here:
